Getting going again

It felt good to have made a start with printmaking again.  I've had quite a break since before Christmas.

I wanted to see if I could use the gelli-plate to create mono-printed backgrounds.  I quite like the background which is quite abstract and now I've got this far I think I might create a collagraph to print the top layer of trees.  So another half days work to get that far and then it will need to dry.  I thinking I might try using a modelling paste on perspex so I don't have to worry too much about varnish.  I might need to experiment a bit first.
