Red-headed Barbet

This is one of the lovelier birds we saw today. It's a male Red-headed Barbet. His lady is very attractive, but not so flashy. We were at a little roadside cafe where they put out bananas and hummingbird feeders and get an amazing variety of birds. 

Internet seems decent here in the bar part of the restaurant at the La Selva Rainforest Lodge where we'll be staying for two days. Naturally, the main thing on my mind in the evening is getting my blip uploaded and having a beer. Not necessarily in that order.
