It's Showtime!

I am fascinated by the mating ritual of the wild turkeys.  I have been watching several 'boys' appearing to practise their strutt as there is no female to be seen...  Boys will be boys, so perhaps they are oohing and aahing about how handsome they are.  Maybe.

This makes it two days in a row that they have been on display with no females around so it really makes me wonder.  One of the females of the small herd (that Big Ears belongs to) appears to be pregnant (see extra).  I am so excited as I hope to get some photos of the fawn!  How I love Spring and all the babies  : ))
