Sunrise

I was out with Finaly just be before 7 a.m. and we walked through the woods which seemed to be particularly 'sniffy' this morning and Finlay  wanted to stop at every clump of vegetation for investigative work! The wild garlic is beginning to smell wonderful already!

Having crossed the the fields we headed up Heygate Lane and turning back this was the scene with the sun just breaking over the hedges and highlighting the trees. The remains of the recently harvested elephant grass (biofuel) can be seen in the mid ground on the right - the light just picking out the rows of waste. Looks nice in LARGE

Out for coffee with daughter and granddaughter - then Mrs madwill and I went off to purchase a new vacuum cleaner (yay) and we had a spot of lunch whilst out. We had decided that cost of repairing the Dyson (over £100 for a new motor) would be better off spent on a new (lighter weight) one with an extended guarantee! We now have a Shark!

I did attempt the Mono Monday DOF challenge - but only had my little camera and even at f2.7 almost the whole world was in focus! Added as an extra if you care to look - processed in Nik Silver Efex Pro
