Bee

Good to see the insects gradually appearing back in the garden. I think this is a hoverfly but I'm sure someone will be able to make a better job of identifying it. I think it is tiny enough for Tiny Tuesday hosted by Freyjad

Surprisingly a flock of around 50 waxwings re-appeared briefly in the tree a few doors down from us. The first time I had seen them since I blipped them a month ago. They only stayed for about a minute before flying off again.

Update - A couple of people have suggested that this is a bee and I think they are probably right so I have changed the title. At the time there were a few recognisably larger bees on the heather so it would make sense
