Paralympics Day 4

Our Sunday, saw another early start to get from West London all the way across to Prince Regent Station on the Docklands Light Railway. It was 7.30am and the central Line and the DLR were full of people travelling eastwards towards the Paralympic venues.

Today we were attending events at Excel and there were 4 things to see -

Table Tennis*

Boccia*

Power Lifting*

Sitting Volleyball

Sadly it was busy here too and we could not see the volleyball - * show what we saw.

However, we did see the GB team event in Boccia and we won against Argentina.

The table tennis was excellent, and we did see a number of Victory Ceremonies.

Then finally at the Power Lifting, we saw an excellent performance from a Chinese atheete who won gold and also set both Paralympic and World Records with his lift! The noise was phenomenal. (sadly no image of the lift or the Victory Ceremony).

The blip shows a victory ceremony and the three medallists sitting proud when the flags are being raised.
