Owl in Fairy Tale Land

Walking to the castle and then down and around the land we hope to buy, it was just magical, wish I could think how to describe it... The ground is carpeted with tiny iris-like flowers, took so many photos trying to give the impression - had to add one in extras. 

But then, on the edge of the castle battlements, saw this tiny owl, so though I'd taken loads of photos trying out under-exposure for Marcus' challenge, afraid this little fellow had to win... And another extra of the castle with a goat-herder in foreground to show where the owl was - on that ledge on the far left of the photo. 

And between the water and the castle is "our" land - if we ever get it...
