Time to remove the mask

Today was good.

Talked to someone at work who I've never properly spoken to before. I seem to go mute because I feel intimidated by her. Not because she's been mean or nasty to me but because she is everything I am not. She is loudly spoken, confident, charming. She's basically Bizarro-Sal.

Or so I thought.

I opened up a bit and so did she. For 10 minutes we removed our masks and found common ground.

People are not always what they seem.
