Friends

I visited Mum today, her sister Bonnie and my brother Tom were also there which was nice. Here she is with Norman who is 94, deaf and has no legs, he is a quaker and a lovely cheerful man, he looks out for Mum and is a really good friend to her.

Tom and I gave her cards and flowers for Mother's Day. The Dietician came for a meeting, we have revised her menu, she will now have white bread and butter with marmalade without crusts and juice in the morning, her lunch will be minced as swallowing is getting harder and soup in the evenings, snacks of yogurt which she takes her meds with. She doesn't like the protein drinks so they are looking into pudding versions of them as she needs more calories. She has asked to be fed now as well. At least she can still express these wishes with her alphabet board and it must be a relief for her to be getting it sorted.

Tom and I walked back through the park, it was a lovely day and he stayed for curry and we watched Get Him To The Greek which Tom hadn't seen and is very funny.

Tom and Gulli wrote a song on the guitars together and Gulli was able to solo over Tom's chords, lovely to see and hear.
