Today I have revisited a subject and treatment that I used about three years ago.

The subject is a broken porthole window in a derelict boat at Burntisland Harbour (see 'extra')

The distortion is by using 'polar coordinates' in reverse mode.
That's the filter that can turn a panorama into a mini-planet. When used in reverse mode, it turns circular subjects into landscapes.

I have used a reduced colour palette for the final version, and then at the last minute, one of the ubiquitous local seagulls just happened to fly into the image.
