Priory

Christchurch Priory will be having one of its busiest times this weekend.

It is a wonderful building. Work on this nave began in the 1090's, lots of Norman arches and columns.

The Christchurch Times has the Priory as it's cover story this week - the story being that it is Bill Bryson's favourite English church. It also reports that there will be a referendum in Christchurch next month. The question ? Yes or No to the three local authorities of Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch combining to form one super Council.

Late afternoon we met up with fellow blipper 13South for a chat over teas and a JLO. The first time I have met someone I have met on Blipfoto. Good to meet her.
