Tractors yesterday, tree today ....

Day 3 at the JK International Orienteering Festival and today we were at St Leonards & Holmbush for the Classic Race.  I was a little apprehensive as the notes on the area and courses were somewhat daunting and the length of my course was beyond my usual comfortable distance.  However, once out in the forest I decided to go steady and keep in touch with the map.    I lost only a few minutes in errors but was still thirty minutes down on the leader - those women at the top can run as well as navigate very well.  I was behind Marcia but ahead of Sue and placed 20th.  Over the weekend I finished 21st overall and I'm happy with that.

The tractors on the hill figured heavily in the 600+ blips I took yesterday.  I took just 400 today but wanted to capture runners in front of this wonderful tree on the run in, for my blip.  It's had the HDR treatment but I quite like the finished surreal look.
