Different Perspective ...

Between all lectures and inside activities an excursion was prepared to get on top of the Black Forest and do a part of the Treetop Walk on the Sommerberg in Bad Wildbad.

To reach the start the participants took the Sommerbergbahn. A leaflet tells that the Sommerbergbahn is Baden-Württemberg's highest funicular, which has connected Bad Wildbad's center with the Sommerberg for over 100 years.

Since its impressive renovation in 2011, the railway has been regarded as one of the most modern funiculars in Germany. In the picture you can see the passing place of the two carriages, one up - that's us - and one down the Sommerberg ... ;-)
