Student Film premiere- Stirling university

Phew! rollercoaster of an evening…tonight was the premiere of the film about Craig-y-nos, the children’s TB sanatorium in Wales, at the Macrobert Arts centre.

This is the one I was involved with and it formed part of the final year of Stirling University Film and Media students’ degree show.

So congratulations to Maria Craig, the director, on managing to capture so succinctly a piece of Welsh social and medical history on film and for a very moving ending with Roger, an ex child patient, singing in Welsh.

The university clearly thought highly of the film too- it received a First.

Photo shows Maria with family and friends and
extra photos  show Maria and myself, and Josefin, the student Swedish producer.
