Freed of brambles, laurel, ash and honeysuckle it seems that the pear tree we didn't know we had until a couple of weeks ago, might actually produce.

We had a passing tree surgeon identify it a bit ago, when it unexpectedly burst into blossom.  He identified it as a perry pear, so not an eater but one to ferment into the local cider variant.

Mmm, need to cultivate this one....
