Lowdown

Today was a foggy start. It never fully cleared away and in the afternoon rose and hung brooding until descending again by 4pm.

It reminded me of when I worked on a job around Huntly in the Waikato. Day after day was foggy with maybe an hour clearance in the afternoon. We were outside and blimey it was miserable.

I scampered off early biking furiously back to my parked car and then drove straight to the Selwyn District Council. I made it in time for someone to answer my questions.

I'm a bit over house stuff but I'll get there. Friday afternoon I'll pay for some inspection work to be done.

Since I've just woken up in my chair I think it's time to head to bed.

Today's gratitude: For safety on a grey old foggy day.
