Brunch at the Quay Ingredient

Our fun weekend in Newcastle continued with brunch at the Quay Ingredient under the Tyne Bridge with my niece Ailish and her boyfriend Danny, who are both final year students at Newcastle University (as blipped).

Then we wandered along the quayside market (I bought a hedgehog feather in a frame), up to the Biscuit Factory, and back into town again before catching the train back home to Edinburgh.

I now have a busy evening ahead editing the conference paper that is due for submission tomorrow...

Exercise today: walking (12,293 steps).
