Soaring Spirit - Oil on canvas, 11 X 14 inches

Just one or two tiny changes and this painting will be finished. My friends pointed out that it felt like the bird was leaping into the future. And it reminded them, and me, of Arvin's journey. So I am calling it "Soaring Spirit." Seems like a great title to me. As you might guess I spent the day at open studio with my friends. I love doing that.

Tonight Steve and Kai are coming over for dinner. Kai is making a pie. Yum. Lynda is here too.
