The Old Forge (Friday 19th May 2017)

After a gardening morning with Refna from Hot Diggity Gardens, who was planting bulbs in pots in the front yard, amongst other things, I went over to Honeyball recycling centre with a trailer-load of rubbish and green waste. The clouds were looking great behind the gravel-pits you see from there. I drove on to Hills Pools afterwards and watched swallows scudding over the pool and behind me were some sheep with lambs. The previous day at Peckingell I'd seen my first swifts of the year.

However, that day the first flower on the young medlar appeared, so that had to be the blip.
