Close encounter in Perthshire

Update: check the extras, snapped at Seilebost on the cycle ride from Tarbert to Northon just after 10:00pm. Both the sunset and the sunset rainbow were magical.

I snapped this plane from the car window as we were driving north along the A9 through Perthshire this morning. About 10 seconds earlier I thought it was going to drop from the sky and land on our car!

We were up early to pack for our trip north west with the tandem. We left Edinburgh at 10:00, stopped for ice cream in Perthshire and a picnic lunch just north of Fort William, and arrived in Uig, Skye at 17:00. The temperature dropped gradually from a heavy 26 degrees at home to a damp 15 degrees on Skye.

I'm posting my blip from the ferry on the way to Tarbert. Exercise today will be at the other side: 20 mile tandem ride to Northton, Harris.
