Sel de Guérande

Another busy day with family today. We started with visiting the very busy market in town. After lunch we cycled out to see Le Grand Blockhaus at Batz-sur-Mer via the excellent French bicycle routes. We then biked to La Croisic and had a crepe. Finally we biked back through the salt flats marshes where they extract the salts from the sea water to make Sel de Guérande.

It's a very complex process but it it does look very pretty in the late afternoon light and is very nice for blipping. Sadly I didn't have a decent camera with me - I was on the bike - but it's come out quite nice.
