Candidate

I was in the Edinburgh South West constituency tonight speaking at a public meeting on Brexit alongside Joanna Cherry QC , who has been the MP for the last two years and who is seeking re-election.

The work that candidates put in on the campaign trail is amazing and it was great she was ( still) so cogent , knowledgable and even amusing after several weeks of door knocking and putting her and the party's case locally and nationally from morning to night.

People who disparage politics and politicians should see them close up from time to time. We are not perfect but we usually, whatever the party, work hard and want the best for those we seek to serve.
