Life on a Dead Tree

This afternoon Mr MD and I paid a visit to Gawthorpe Hall at Padiham.   But once again we chose the wrong day;  it was closed.     However, we had a lovely walk around the grounds and I came across this dead tree bearing this lovely Fungi.    No idea what kind it is but it looks nice.
