Hang on!

Most of the dragonflies were in flight duelling and guarding their territory but this female four-spot chaser landed in the shade but had to hang on in the gentle breeze before taking up a more sensible resting position.

Another very hot day and as always the air conditioning doesn't work when it's hot! 31 degrees C outside and 29 degrees C at my desk! Thankfully I acquired a fan a few years back.
