Endless Weekend

The old and the new

I just came back from a wonderful visit with Connections and Philipo in Bellingham.  Yesterday we attended the memorial service for Artist Annie's husband Arvin, which was very moving and where folks shared wonderful stories about Arvin that made us laugh and cry.  I'm so glad I attended.  During my visit, C and I were talking about how we looked when we were young and I told her I had this old photo of myself that my father had cut out with his jigsaw many years ago and I had it next to my girls on my dresser.  We could be sisters!  I was about 26 in that picture, and my girls were 29 and 33.  It's fun to see the similarities and the differences.
