Day 3 - much rainier today, but we decided to go for an explore anyway. We drove to Manorbier - there was a castle but we didn't want to pay to get in, so instead we played on the beach and the rocks.

Piero found a crab in a rock pool but his excitement immediately got the better of him and he slipped in. We were a bit sympathetic but mainly laughing too much. He got his own back by finding a "route" back to the car through prickly gorse. Ouchy.

We drove a bit further, first to Freshwater (which looked nearly identical to Manorbier), then to Pembroke. Cream tea in a little cafe on the high street, some good charity shops and an amazing little greengrocer/deli/sweetshop/everythingshop. Pose bought some coffee and Graham bought some cheese.

Back in Tenby, we went out for a meal at Lighthouse. It came highly recommended (and we've since learned that it was recently named the best restaurant in Wales!) and oh boy we weren't disappointed. I had a baked goats cheese with a polenta bake and tender stem broccoli and it was innnnncredible. Pose was "absolutely buzzing" about her fish and Piero managed nearly all of his ginormous burger. We shared a bottle of prosecco which was also absolutely delicious.

Had a little walk around the harbour and along north beach to work off our food, then home for another few rounds of Articulate.
