Mono Monday 180 - Woodland IR

I am afraid my contribution to mono Monday challenge is not based on this week's subject but more on a personal whim to do some IR photography. InfraRed is not only so unique in attributing lightness to foliage and  greenery but also in drawing out a range of detail from the sky especially where there are patches of blue which become an inky black. There was a fair amount of clouds in the sky this morning but here and there were odd patches of blue. It would have been really great if I had been able to place my windblown tree which is central to the composition against a patch of blue sky as the contrast between the light coloured foliage and the inky black sky  would have made the tree really stand out. Perhaps this is a subject that needs to be revisited when there are less clouds around.
