Freedom day in Malawi

6th July 2017:

Today was a public holiday to celebrate 53 years of freedom from British rule.

Our people however decided to work because we are so busy collecting thousand of seeds for our Forestry and firewood Project.

We did however celebrate here with the factory and education workers.
We had soft drinks, but the Malawians love tea with lots of milk and sugar
Of course we had the buns as well.

We sang the Malawian National Anthem and Mary also sung the Irish National Anthem in Gaeilge, on request .
