Our week away in Thuringia has ended and we had to come back today. We did stop on the way and visited Castle Gleichen which is another impressive castle (well, it is one of a set of three). It is also very interesting because of the very dry and hot slopes surrounding it which contain plants and insects from the Asian steppe. Unfortunately, it was quite cold today and not many insects out and about. Still we enjoyed the break. Back to Ingelfingen now.
