Copper Bottomed Saucepans And Copper Underwing

I went to the Amwell Nature Reserve Dragonfly Trail as it is #DragonflyWeek. Surprisingly few dragons and damsels about. A brown hawker just wouldn't settle and a mgrant hawker only settled once and then too far away for a decent shot.

I shot this moth in the kitchen this evening and have posted it as I've never photographed a copper underwing before. That white circle on its wing made it fairly easy to identify.

Today's poem is You Are Great In Love by Yevgeny Yevtushenko. https://www.poemhunter.com/best-poems/yevgeny-yevtushenko/you-are-great-in-love/

I used to love leading people off the beaten path. Love in the forest amongst the wildflowers, listening to birdsong under a blue sky. :)
