Gordon Grigor, with his distinctive "sit up and beg" style (not hanging off the bike), rounding the hairpin on his Suzuki GSX1100, at the Knockhill racetrack.. He'd a great start in this first big production bike race... until all the newer Suzuki Katanas caught up.

There was also a Yamaha Pro Am event, which is always a bit bonkers, with everyone on the same bikes, and large groups of them reaching various bends at the same time.
