A day of hearts and cockleshells

Back up to Scotland for the second day running. It was hot, sunny and glorious.

Went to New Abbey in Dumfries and Galloway first thing. Wandered about Sweetheart Abbey and the village - what a beautiful little place. Had a nice soya cappuccino and bought some freshly baked heart-shaped shortbread to take back with us. It was delicious. Melted in the mouth.

We then went on to Rockcliffe and walked along the coast to Kippford to see the cockleshell beach. It lived up to my expectations and I loved the crunchy noise and sensation as I walked on it :-)
