Between the showers

Mr PB mentioned yesterday that he'd seen a mouse on the edge of the patio, and I've notices a hole it that area in the past, so I was on extra alert whilst doing my daily bird count. Sure enough, I spotted movement and got my camera at the ready. Even though it was scuttling about, I managed a few shots. On looking at the images, I realised it wasn't the usual wood mouse, but in fact a vole, probably a field vole. Very exciting as it adds to the garden mammal tally - up to 6, not counting cats, which of course I don't.
