Exploration

This is the view towards The Ness at Shaldon from the lower edge of White Wells wood. I'm glad I got it in good light as it was a bit of a struggle to get there. The paths through the woodland are somewhat overgrown with brambles, holly and bracken and the area below the well is very boggy. I've been here before so I knew it should be possible.

It's been a much better day today, thank goodness. I have been thinking that I'd need to recruit a team of big blokes to get on the end of a large crowbar to prise that jetstream to the North a bit. Looking at the temperatures in continental europe at the moment though, perhaps it's not a good idea to meddle with things. I couldn't be doing with those 40 degree temperatures.
