In the park

I took the bus down to my home town today to meet up with my forever friend...... we walked across the park, which used to have our school football and hockey pitches, although now long gone and replaced with an care home.  I saw this reminder of days gone by, refurbished in the last few years, and marvelled at the intricacy of it, which as a child I never really noticed.

We had lunch and a good chat, till it was time to head home.  

It rained in the morning, but got quite warm and sunny in the afternoon.
