Whilst I have put placeholder bookings over a few lunchtimes in order to try to get to at least a couple of fringey things in this year, but even having a surfeit of flex and booking out my entire permitted lunch-period with an outstanding appointment cannot prevent me from forgetting to go out until too late. Perhaps buying a ticket in advance would provide the sufficient impetus.
