A new friend

My camera departed this life last week and today I received my new one; same model as the old one!
This is the first photograph that it has taken. A morbid looking fungus known as the elfin saddle (Helvella lacunosa)  has appeared on our "lawn". Presumably some-one once observed an elf riding on one.
