Whitby backblip 7

Started the day with a very enjoyable North-West Morris workshop (by Betty Lupton's) in the Pavilion. Then back the the Craft and Music Fair just in time to avoid a noisy thunderstorm - thunder, lightning and sheet rain for a short while. Later in the morning, Carol and Dan, customers who have become friends, came to play a few tunes with MrM (extra).

In the afternoon we left Angus in charge of the stall, and MrM and I drove out to visit I and R whom we met in Wooler earlier this year, when I came to buy a fiddle. Their home is quite isolated - in the middle of lovely piece of woodland off a minor track - and, despite having directions, it took us quite a while to find it! From their land they have the most fabulous view of Robin Hood's Bay. A good afternoon.

Back to the campsite and then in to Whitby for fish & chips before Angus headed off to take photos and MrM and I went to a music session in the Golden Lion.
