Favourite moths

Some of my favourite moths were in my trap yesterday. The pale prominent is amazingly modelled on a splinter of wood - until it flies, it really is most un-moth-like! The extra photo shows another favourite, canary-shouldered thorn, which in contrast is a real show-off in its bright yellow party dress. Such good mothing at the moment!
