My God it rained today. We got soaked and soaked and then soaked. This weekend is the Cape Clear Storytelling weekend. We were there for other reasons, but really hoping to bump into Chuck, who founded the festival many years ago. He's a storyteller, a poet, a broadcaster and a photographer. Chuck and his wife Nell, both American, have lived on Cape for over 25 years, since 1992 and are an integral part of the island. But now, due to health issues, island life has become less and less feasible, so after the festival they are heading back to live in Pennsylvania, where Chuck told us he's going to really, really miss the sea, but from the window in the place they will live they can see the forest and nothing else, so that will suffice. Good luck Chuck and Nell. Safe journey.
