Incy, wincy spider

Having thought that my joints had coped OK with three long days of walking, this morning I suddenly experienced an intense pain in my left hip as I walked briskly to post a letter. My hip was no better by the evening, so I googled my symptoms and decided that I'd probably developed mild bursitis. Treatment seemed to involve rest, application of cold packs and taking anti-inflammatory medicine. However, since the stomach ulcer I've avoided ibuprofen, so I just spent the rest of the evening with a cold pack  strapped to me intermittently.

As a result of the pain I didn't go far, but found this very pretty money spider, probably a Neriene, sitting on the bloom of an Aster frikartii. A suitably autumnal scene for the coming change of season.
