Quod oculus meus videt

Chasewater Dawn

I took note of a relatively benign forecast for sunrise and headed over to Chasewater.  I set up camp on the edge of the water, taking advantage of some rocks in the shallow water.  I had to move a couple of ugly concrete blocks that were spoiling the scene.  These stones would normally be well underwater but despite the rain over the last few days the reservoir was at its lowest for some time.

It was difficult to choose one from the three I've posted today (see extras).  All were taken within a 10 minute period and demonstrate the variability of light at this time of day.  After that it clouded over quite quickly and has been blustery and showery since.
