Morning Webwork: Baubles, Bangles, and Beads

We've had a bunch of marvelously foggy mornings in a row and the orb weavers have been particularly active lately. Fog + webs = amazingness. It's an equation guaranteed to delight.

Every morning, I discover awesome sights in our yard: fresh webs, strung with shining, sparkling dew drops, looking for all the world like baubles, bangles, and beads.

I have never met the spider who spins these works of art, but if I did, I'd thank her. She's turned our Norway spruces into Christmas trees, covered in strands of dew-diamond finery.
