Playfair Library

TT was at work today, as it was Open Day.  That meant I was on BB’s football.  Unusually it wasn’t an early morning start, so we had a bit of hanging around before it was time to go.  I dropped him and went for a walk.  It was a gorgeous morning and so warm.  In fact BB complained that it was too hot for playing football.

After lunch we headed into Edinburgh and checked out a couple of places that were open for Doors Open Day.  First stop was the Dovecot Studio, then the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon innovation.  After a stop off to visit the bookshop and to buy BB some nourishment to keep him going, we popped into the Playfair Library and the Talbot Rice Gallery.  Just as we were leaving, I got a call from TT to say he was finished, so we then headed over to his office to pick him up.  We wandered back down to princes Street, stopping off at the M&S food hall – which made for an easy tea.

BB and I watched a bit of Strictly and then TT and I watched our last episode of Cracker.  Another box set done.

Here is the magnificent Playfair Library.
