Bracket Fungus

Both Biskit and I thought this fungus was very interesting, not least that it had grass growing on top . . .
 
We turned up at our daughter’s house early evening ready to baby sit, and were met by our daughter on her way out for a walk with Biskit.  “How nice to see you” she says, “what are you doing here.”  This was followed by “Am I supposed to be somewhere” and “OMG – it’s the curriculum presentation at Kaitlyn’s school this evening!”
 
Five minutes later I’ve taken over Biskit’s walk, and daughter and son-in-law are on their way to the Bourne Grammar School!!
