Walking up Scolty Hill

A steep climb up Scolty Hill near Banchory. Great views East and West along Deeside. 299m, with a 20m circular tower monument on the summit, a memorial to General William Burnett. We climbed the 70 step spiral staircase to the top.

I managed to injure my foot on the way down. Not what I wanted as I prepare for next weekend.

Dinner with all the family at a new Indian Restaurant, Wild Ginger, in Union Street, Aberdeen. Delicious food, very good service. We had numerous successes to celebrate.
