Three points for Denbigh Town after their 2-0 win over Penrhyncoch in the Huws Gray Cymru Alliance League, the second tier of Welsh football. It was a heavy pitch, with a few downpours during the course of the match, but there was some good football from both sides.

And it was good to see a female referee (Cheryl Foster, Buckley) for a men's game.
