Not that kind of blue

Early in the day, the bug doctors paid a visit and said they thought I'd been on IV antibiotics for long enough - I could now be treated with tablets alone  Since this meant there was no reason for me to stay in hospital, it seemed like a certainty the doctors would send me home. 

The doctors confirmed this, provided the following day's blood test was OK. 

A visit from Jan and Gary in the afternoon only added to the day's good mood.  I can't wait to read whatever's caught their eye in that book, though.
