Abstract .........

  ............. Thursday120   (AT120)

Straight from the camera.

A rock from the garden - with the pink theme for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.   Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting the AT Challenge.

When we first started the garden some 25 years ago I wanted specific pinky coloured rocks to go in the rockery by the pond - I trawled the garden centres and eventually found these - they are big and heavy - this one measures about 15" x 12" x 15"  (37 x 30 x 37cms) and is not the biggest ........ as the garden has now "got away from us" due to a lot of stuff happening over the years, these expensive, carefully selected and much desired rocks have vanished under plants/trees.

We are making a concerted effort to bring everything under control now and I have cleared part of one end of the rockery and we can see some of the rocks again ....... I doubt we will get it all finished until next summer but we have made a start!

The main colour, pink, is for Pink October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you can, please follow this link and click on the pink button for free mammograms for those who can't afford them otherwise.

Remember, you guys out there, breast cancer doesn't just affect women - you need to check regularly too ....... it only takes a few minutes and could save your life.  In fact, check all your "bits and pieces" regularly - it is VERY important to catch this insidious disease quickly.
