Nasturtium

We spent another day at the allotment.   It is surprising what a change you can make if you go at a job "mob handed".   There were trips to the tip to be done, weeding, shopping for manure and paving slabs.

The slabs of course needed laid making the area we use for sitting and coffee breaks much better and more pleasant.  The Nasturtiums were planted as companion plants I can't however remember what Katkatkat expected them to do.  They did provide a nice cheerful patch of colour on a dull windy autumn day.  All parts of Nasturtiums are edible but Kat tried a leaf and declared them horrible!
